Amsel – Build up your Voice is supported by a Neustart Kultur subsidy aimed at aiding the revival of numerous choirs that have largely been inactive since the advent of the pandemic. Moreover, singing students and professionals will discover a plethora of valuable technical warm-ups tailored for their needs.

Key highlights include:
<ul>
<li>A comprehensive database featuring 140+ exercises categorized into three difficulty tiers, with a dedicated section for vocal warm-ups for speech only.</li>
<li>User-friendly interface: select your vocal range (high/low/speaking), choose your desired training duration, press play, and replicate the exercises audibly. Musical notes are provided for reference, all showcased in C-major for user convenience.</li>
<li>Authentic acoustic recordings: users can listen to sung examples and practice alongside a genuine grand piano – free from artificial midi sounds.</li>
<li>Customizable focus areas allowing users to set preferences and let the system curate suitable exercises accordingly. Options include Body Work / Support, Resonance / Directionality, Vowel Uniformity, Combining Vocal Registers, Agility / Coloratura, Economy of Airflow / Legato, Articulation, as well as various vowel exercises.</li>

Amsel – Build up your Voice is not positioned as a singing tutorial but rather as a "fitness app" providing immediate warm-up solutions to bolster vocal and physical readiness for both speaking and singing endeavors. Similar to how basic physical exercises yield numerous benefits notwithstanding the absence of comprehensive understanding, engaging in simple vocal drills (like fricative consonants or lip trills) can reinforce positive bodily coordination conducive to optimal vocal cord utilization. Sarah Fuhs (the creator) boasts over a decade of experience in voice instruction and choral coaching. As a trained vocalist and pianist, she embarked on developing digital educational tools for teaching singing techniques in early 2020, culminating in the Amsel-App.
